the brief
The Loft Collective was Madison's best-kept secret. Incredible stylists, stunning space, zero digital presence. Their chairs were half-empty and their stylists' books were wide open.
the challenge
In a city saturated with hair studios, The Loft had no visual footprint. They weren't searchable, they weren't shareable, and they weren't showing up in the algorithms that drive local discovery.
the idea
What if every client who left the chair became a walking billboard? We designed the 'Chair Diary' to turn transformations into cinematic, shareable moments — not just posts, but pieces of content that clients wanted to send to their friends before we even published them.
our approach
- 1
Created a 'Chair Diary' content series — short, cinematic clips of transformations with the stylist's voiceover
- 2
Launched a referral-forward Reels strategy that turned every client into a potential content partner
- 3
Built a local influencer seeding program with micro-creators who matched the salon's aesthetic
- 4
Implemented a booking-optimized Link-in-Bio with real-time availability and treatment-specific landing pages

We went from begging people to fill chairs to turning away walk-ins. The content wasn't just pretty — it was a booking engine.
